Messiah
(Heb. mashiah), in all the thirty-nine instances of its occurring in the Old Testament, is rendered by the LXX. "Christos."
He is to birthed of a woman of the Holy Spirit, to be made under the Law, to redeem them that were under the Law." In him all ancient prophecies have their fulfilment. Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah!
Messiah means anointed.
Thus all priests (Ex. 28:41; 40:15; Num. 3:3),
and all prophets (1 Kings 19:16),
and all kings (1 Sam. 9:16; 16:3; 2 Sam. 12:7)
were anointed with oil,
and so consecrated to their respective offices.
The Messiah is anointed with the Holy Spirit and embraces in himself all the three offices.
The three offices are priest, prophet and king of the earth forever!
In these 3 is he highest and greatest above ALL!
But the AntiChrist will claim the role as the greatest prophet himself?
hmm who has done that?
