Omega, at the beginning of this thread you put (Genuine) Christians. That is the same thing I was saying. Some "Christians" are not genuine. I guess I do need to be more careful about my words.
A self professed Christian is someone who seems to be religious and doesn't bridle his tongue, but decieves his own heart. Only God knows who they are because only God knows the hearts. They don't even know who they are.
All that I meant was that 2 people may attend church together and claim to be Christians but one knows God - but the other has not yet come to the knowledge of the truth and, therefore, does not have the salvation found in Jesus Christ.
That applies to this thread because all professing Muslims will not go to hell and all professing Christians will not go to heaven. Usually, people who live together share the same religious preferences. Religion and salvation are two separate things. A person cannot truly be relgious without salvation in Jesus but they can practice the religion without the relationship. Some people do not understand the concept of relationship because they close themselves up.
