Please explain.
Paul uses a lot of metaphores and similes in his writing. In this Scripture Paul is using a building as a metaphor. The kingdom is not a building or a body, it is a location that will be prepared by Jesus: John 14:2-4
2 "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. 3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 "And you know the way where I am going." NAS
As Christians we are both sevants working in the Lord's fields and fellow heirs who will inherit the kingdom with Him.
I understand that the Kingdom is a location, however since our abode will be in the Kingdom we are thus part of the Kingdom, who brought us into the Kingdom? God. Since you made a comparison between Paul and Jesus, both describes God as the builder, We are considered Gods building and Jesus prepares an abode for us, both using metaphors. If a place is prepared in Gods Kingdom for us, this would desribe growth within the Kingdom since we are Gods creation and abide in His Kingdom. No matter how you see it, we are Gods creation and since we are Gods creation we are Gods building, and since we are Gods building(metaphorically), this would still mean an increase in the growth of the Kingdom.
