Well, I figure I've made a couple of posts so anyone that's read them knows already enough about my style to figure me out. Regardless, for those that haven't:
I'm James, was once Christian (non-denominational) and became an Ecclectic Pagan after many "belief" issues with Christianity. To be honest, I consider myself a Skeptic (lot's of other people do) and I consider myself pretty rational. As far as my path goes - I pretty much believe in helping people - whatever it takes to get the job done (as long as it doesn't harm anyone else) is what I'm all about.
As Magus said, I've seen a couple of people from here pop up on the Pagan Forums and thought it might be fun to chat with a variety of people (not that we don't get variety there, but you'd be amazed at how few Christians we get on our boards )
I have a tendency to ramble (not really rant, but just drone on and on) so if my posts seem to be getting long let me know - I'll try to cut them shorter
Um...what else...right...me I'm married with a 10 year old son whom we are trying to raise to be openminded. At this point in time in his spiritual path he has not settled on any belief structure yet - however he seems to lean toward becoming a Scientist (not a Scientologist...hehe). My wife is also a Pagan (former Catholic) and I have friends from *all* sorts of backgrounds that follow different paths (from Jehovas Witnesses, Mormons, Satanists, Athiests, Odinists, etc) - it's a hobby of mine to study religion Incidentally, sometimes my posts come off as overly critical - in advance (and I'll apologize later too, I'm sure) I'm just letting you know that I ask alot of questions They aren't designed to inflame or anger, but to understand - I expect the same from those curious about my own path or why I follow it.
Well now, that should be plenty for awhile...I'm sure y'all will see me around from time to time...
Blessed Be,
James
