Heterosexual relationships
There are over 300 law and general guidances regulating heterosexual relationships. One thing I have asserted in many essays is that the authors of the Old & New Testament could only condemn and even write about what they knew about. They addressed issues pertinent to their time (i.e. rape, prostitution, pederasty, etc.). The Bible provides rules for heterosexual relationships because that was what was established in the time. For them to establish rules for homosexual relationships would make no sense-- that's like finding a Windows XP operating manual in the Bible. It wasn't an issue. The issue of loving and committed homosexual relationships is simply not addressed in Scripture in any way. Homogeniality is only mentioned, as I have shown within the context of rape (Sodom), prostitution (1 Cor & 1 Tim), abusive sexual encounters (Lev) and an orgy (Romans). With anything not addressed by Scripture the Holy Spirit is there to lead us into all truth, and I believe that the same rules for heterosexual relationships apply to homosexual, and the Spirit has been guiding the Church towards all truth.
