furthermore the Crusades where instigated by the muslims on the order of a Egyptian king, they were harrassing and massacring christians, and destroying the churches.
This vatican only responded with them by calling upon Europe to create an army, the problem with this is, that a an army wich comes from newly converted pagan nations like the vikings, the knights from England, the soldiers from France's empire, etc... is that they had a fairly dissorganized army with fiercly fighters and little discipline.
If the war wasn't provoced by the muslims the atrocity would of never happend.
And nowhere in the christian gospels is a commandment for figthing for God... in Islam on the other hand...
and try reading up some history on Islam, if you'd see what the caliphs have done with the nations they conquered... and the persectutions they made... you'd think the inquisition and the crusaders are anekdotes in history... and this without underrating the atrocities of both of them. Like i said before Islam only gets glorified due to it's lack of knowledge about the religion.
Christianity is fairly easy to judge, because all the criticism against it has reached a conundrum in wich the crusades and the inqisition are the first answers on the critics lips. In time it will become the caliph massacres and muhammed's dissrespect for life and women... that will become conundrums against islam... i have no problem with critics, yet in the process you should first get the log out of your own eye, before getting the splinter out of someone else's.
