NUMEROLOGY IN KORAN: (cont.)
The name of the prophet Mohammad appeared only twice in the Koran.
MOHAMMAD =2
Mohammad =2 (47:2; 33:40)
2= To show Mohammad’s respect to Jesus, the Second Hypostasis in the Trinity.
After all, when Mohammad married Khadiga, his first wife, it was Waraka Ben Nofel, her cousin who conducted the wedding ceremony. Waraka was a Christian priest/Bishop of Mekka. The wedding was according to the Christian rituals.
Of note is the fact that one of those twice appearance of name Mohammad in Koran was a must.
Verse 33:40: This verse came in the context of two men having a problem concerning one woman, one is already married to her, Zayd, and the other, Mohammad, desires her for himself. The verses came to sort this problem. Surely if the name of one side is mentioned, Zayid, there was a compulsion to mention the other name, Mohammad. Thus it seems that the one only time Mohammad’s name was mentioned in the Koran was through compulsion to do so.
What about the other time the name of Mohammad appeared in the Koran, verse 47:2
You will see that the next verse, but one, is about dealing with opponents:
And as it is known that Mohammad was more keen on the aspect of war and killings, it was most appropriate that his name be mentioned when such events arise in the Koran.
CONCLUSION:
In answer to question: why Mohammad was mentioned only twice, in Koran, one of which was a must:
Answer: Can it be because Gabriel was mistaken in presenting the revelations to Mohammad rather than the rightful person, Ali according to Shiite concept?
So even the 2 for Mohammad should be?1 Because of the element of compulsion in verse 33:40!
