Christian/Muslim Threadsconcept of heaven in islamIt's a reference to a certain state of mind, state of bliss of wich the rabbinical and orthodox jews (wich Paule once was) used to discribe such feelings of divine/prophethood, in a same way they probably measured -just guessing- Moses to have reached the seventh heaven, King David the fifth, isaiah and enoch the fourth, ezekiel the third, and unknown prophets like in Judges to be of the second heaven... nothing supportable by scripture, just jewish tradition... since Paul wasn't dead, he couldn't have reached heaven could he. It's only obvious that he was speaking metaphorically. |
