1. Speciation is not being argued. Speciation is nothing more than variation, the potential of which exists within the gene pool of the population being studied. For instance, in Lake Victoria the cichlids remained cichlids. They never varied beyond that. This is variation. This is NOT what evolution needs to get from bacteria to bear.
2. The 'small changes' do NOT EVER add up to major changes in form or function. This has never been observed. Never.
3. To try to liken evolution to erosion will not help your case. Erosion tears away at what is already there. Evolution is supposed to build up in specificity and complexity. Two entirely different directions and the use of them as parallels is entirely inappropriate and fallacious.
4. As far as the Setterfield links go, if you go into the section on either the scientific articles or the discussions page I think you will find more than enough data and math to show that he knows what he is talking about.
