Dear Ghada
Now about “clean” and Medina and Hajj:
Surely you will have answers to these questions:
It is well known that Hajj was practised during pagan Arabia, many years before Mohamad. So:
1. How many times the pagans went round the Kabba, and how many times the Muslims do the same now?
2. Did the pagans through stones as the Muslims do now?
3. Did the pagans sacrifice animals as the Muslims do now?
4. What did the pagan men wear then, and why do Muslim men wear only a cloth now?
5. What did the pagan women wear then and what do the Muslim women wear now?
6. What did the pagan women do when they reached the black stone?
7. By which part of the body did the pagan women touch, or rub, against the black stone?
8. Is there any difference in the ritual of Hajj in Medina between what used to happen in pagan times and what Muslims do today when they go to Hajj?
9. Did the pagans consider the Medina clean?
10. Still awaiting your answer to the question why you consider Kabba/Medina clean as you said in a previous posting? (you said you will look to this question in the near future)
