Judaism ForumEden was Actually in Israel - Biblical Evidence and GeologicBelow Cambrian is Precambrian – there are no fossils here, other than the occasional stromatolite. If this was laid down during the flood, we would expect to see all kinds of fossils. It’s also recognized as the oldest rock formations in the crust, sometimes with miles of sediment on top – where did this other rock come from if it wasn’t deposited by your flood. This does make more sense then what I assumed you meant. I do not personally believe it was the flood catastrophe that caused this feature, but you may be right in suggesting it was a catastrophic event. I do not have a refference at this time, but it seems to me that trees can be far more resilient than you're suggesting here. The point about the leaf is a good one! This is not food appropriate for the animals coming out of the ark, nor would there be any president for this happening on such a global level, nor would it explain the biodiversity in fauna and flora we observe today. I believe that vegetation left behind before the flood is far more plausible explanation. You’re being forced to build a house of cards with an argument like this, trying to suggest one plausible explanation after another. Point taken! This will not happen again. I do appreciate your intellect, and your arguments, even if we seem to be on different sides of the fence. |
