I do believe that it can be inheirited. I know a family that has two children.
The girl was treated terribly...abused, harassed, etc.
The boy was treated like a king...spoiled, taken care of, etc.
Two different living environments, VERY different lives...and both are gay.
Neither were exposed to anything gay in their lives until adulthood when they first learned what their attractions to the same-sex meant.
They later learned a distant aunt they had never met was homosexual.
I have met children with gay aunts or uncles. They were rarely exposed to anything gay. Some were raised religiously. It all depends on the person and the family.
So if more than one family member is gay and they werent lead down a path to be gay then the theory that gays are choosing to be ridiculed, hated, shut out, spit on, even killed (in the case of Matthew Shepard) is ridiculous.
