You will find extemists is all segments of the population that say lots of things that are far from true.
In order to understand Biblical truth you have to go to the source - the Bible, not some site that jumps to conclusions. I don't waste my time on sites like the one about Cain's wife.
If you don't want to discuss the flood on this thread then don't make posts to disagree with a simple observation about Pangea. I learned in school about a theorized vapor canopy. My high school years predates Morris and CRI by decades, so if you want to question my source of information you need to read science books from about 1958.
Does inbreeding among humans cause problems? Yes, King Tut is used as an example by some. Researchers doing genetic studies of rams that demonstrate homosexual behavior state a possible cause is inbreeding.
Sin is not genetic.
What I find interesting in many posts from atheists is they think sarcasm is a good debating tactic and they use sarcasm when they do not have something worthwhile to post. I used the earthquake faults to show the stage is set for the return of Jesus. God is sovereign over His creation, and He can cause earthquakes and other natural phenomena to accomplish His purposes.
Numerology has nothing to do with what I posted about the birth of Christ. Astronomy and anthropology are accepted and respected sciences. Before you make assumptions based on bigotry and not truth I suggest you do some research.

This is based on work done at MIT, a secular university.
Furthermore, Adam was a fictional character in a story. There was no 'first man' with 'perfect genes' (perfect, yet he sinned?) and no one has ever reached the age of 800. It quite amusing, if not a bit unsettling, that people that express such great knowedge and intellect do not dare to look at biblical stories from a more critical point of view.
Prove this statement using real science not assumptions based on assumptions used by scientists who were not present to observe the big bang .
Mitochondrial DNA can show all humans on this earth have a common mother who was a black woman. So before you make categorical statements based on prejudice and bad science I suggest you get into real science and follow the data.
This is a fundamentalist message board, but we have members who are fundamentalists who do not discard scientific truth in an attempt to establish a thesis that is not sound Bible exegesis. And from the comments I have read concerning the link in wigginsmum posted I put that site in this category.
I will repeat; real science does not contradict Biblical truth, and Biblical truth does not contradict real science.
I was not a creationist until fairly recently. What changed my mind was what science can show using good science. Unlike some atheists who support theories over truth I am open minded enough to allow science to explain our universe. Galileo wrote something to the effect that science explains the heavens and the Bible tells us how to go to heaven. What the Catholic Church did during the inquisition did not stop Christian scientists from researching and writing scientific truth.
