Chris wrote:It is simple, they know me you don't. They know what I believe and you don't. They have seen me in action you haven't.
Do they know you think its immoral and they will go to Hell?
Yes, in fact one of them has a Christian woman sharing his home and she has told him the same thing.
2) The reason why the repressed, self-loathing gays attack other gays is because they have been taught that who they are is wrong.
Prove it.
Its common sense. Prove me wrong.
It is not common sense and the burden of proof is on the one making the allegations.
How many Christian Churches have you visited?
I attend one.
One out of over 100,000 in the United States alone, not that sure gives you the right to judge us all doesn't it?
How many evangelical Christians have you talked to? You are judging almost 2 billion people based on the words of just 2 TV programs and you call us bigots.
You criticise the media for showing gays in a positvive light, which has probably lowered the homophobia. You believe if gays do not repent they go to Hell. You believe if Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, or anyother religion out there does not convert to Christianity they will go to Hell. The administrator of this board posts messages saying ALL Muslims hate Jews and connects them to Nazis and Hitler. You stand in the way of gays trying to get rights and be accepted (there are still places that will not hire you for being gay.)
Sure Churches and private businesses where the owner is not under EPA guidelines. But this is a lame excuse. I have never met a gay man or lesbian woman who was fired for being gay. And I know thousands of gays in 5 states.
Islam also teaches that those who don't accept Islam will go to hell.
You did not do an Internet search did you? I can tell since what you posted about lesbians being at lower risk for STD's is false.
I did, actually.

One part says, "Lesbians may be at lower risk for STDs but that does not mean that we should not take precautions." Which is true.
May be at lower risk, does not translate to
are at lower risk. If you have read other threads on this forum you will find where this has already been discussed and I posted links to sites that disprove you allegations, not just one line from one source.
Your opinions and lack of real knowledge plus $4 will get you a latte at Starbucks.
Prove me wrong in what I've said. People have used the Bible to condone slavery. People have used it to treat women as second-class citizens (it wasnt so long ago that when a man married a woman she became his property. People have used it to condone tying women to stakes and setting them on fire. People have used it to deny giving women the right to vote.
If you have read the Bible and compared its instructions regarding women with contemperary cultures you will find Jewish women had more freedom and responsibility than women in other cultures. Christians have never taught women were chattles, but Islam does, as do some Eastern religions. The Salem Witch trials were an anomally, not the rule and it is a custom in India for women to throw themselves on their husbands funeral pyre. Women were denied the right to vote in many cultures and still are in some countries today.
Have you read the Bible's instructions on owning slaves? The entire world including all religions practiced slavery. God knows human nature and set up rules that governed how slaves should be treated.
If he said "Though shall not do slavery" a lot of people would have stopped.
Who do you think you are kidding?
What you have failed to post or acknowledge is that it was Christians who abolished slavery in every civilized nation on this planet and the only people group that still practices slavery are Muslims.
The Bible was used to justify slavery. People said how since it had rules on slavery and did not say it wrong, slavery was ok. It was only until people decided not to follow slavery on the matter that slavery was abolished.
Now, which is more liberal? The North or the South? Which is more conservative and religious? The North or the South? Which wanted to free the slaves, and which wanted to keep them? The North or the South?
As for some Muslims owning slaves; that is the danger of having a government run by religion. Ours is a secular one with a separation of church and state.
Another generality. Southern slave owners used the Bible to justify slavery. Northern Christians opposed the practice.
I didnt say that no Muslims hate Jews, but saying that all do is a blanket statement too. And Christians have contributed to anti-semetism too (the whole "Christ-killer" crap).Blame the Catholic Church since any Christian who knows anything about the Bible knows that Jesus was killed by the Romans.
Martin Luther, founder of Protestantism wrote a book called "The Jews and their Lies."
Martin Luther did not found the Protestant movement. Luther wanted to reform the Catholic Church and German barons took his cause and started the Lutheran Church, Henry VIII founded the Anglican Church, Knox founded the Presbyterian Church, Wesllyan founded the Methodist Church. Calvin was one of the most influencial of the reformers.
Furthermore, it's mostly the Conservative/Fundamentalist Muslims who hate Jews. Liberal and Progressive Muslims mostly dont (its usually the Liberal and Progressive branches of any religion who are more acceptiong and tolerant). I've actually seen some Jewish-Muslim couples. And saying that all Muslims hate Jews and that they're connected to the Nazis and Satan is only going to lead to more prejudice and hate.Agan you are posting ignorant assumptions. Have you read the Qu'ran or what their prophet instructs should happen to people who don't convert to Islam?
If you check out the topic I made in the Islam/Christianity forum, I've given several examples of Jews and Muslims getting along together. And Christianity has also advocated the stoning of people. Once again, your blanket-statements of all Muslims being this way is very ignorant. As I said, only the Fundamentalists believe in the stuff like that.
You keep saying
your, the fact is most Middle East Arabs would not hesitate to eliminate Israel. Arabs who live in other regions are just as bad in their persecution of Christians.
Christianity does not teach hate, people hate people for their own reasons.
If Chris wants to discuss homosexuality, the Bible, and the issues Chris is welcome to post away. But if Chris continues personal attacks and accusations based on pure ignorance Chris will be gone in no time flat.
Chris has received two warnings the next time a warning is called for it will be preceded with loosing posting rights on this message board
So you can say horrible stuff about a group of people, and its ok. But if you direct it to one single person, its ignorant?
Read out posting rules and abide by them or you are history.
Have you read any of the other threads on this forum? If not then I suggest you do before you continue your irrational and hate filled rant against people you don't know.
For instance have you read Homosexuals Opposed to Gay Extremism? If you think you are the first obnoxious gay to post to this board you are wrong. And you will not be the last, but you will conduct yourself with proper decorum and respect for others opinions or you are history.
