I went to a young democrats thing on campus the other day and heard someone talking about they heard Jesus had intercourse with a man in deleted passages of Matthew.
He said he was going to put an article in the school paper. So if any of you know of a source that says thi please post it. Anyway here are my factual concerns.
1) The part about it being in Matthew is quite odd. Mostly because Matthew was devote to the Jewish community and at the very least under Kosher laws relations with another man make someone ritually unclean. So Jesus could not be the mediator between God and man if he was ritually unclean. (Or at least that is my take on it.) Matthew just does not seem like the type of apostle to have this.
2) The whole deleted passages thing has me wondering if any of it has merit. I have heard of "Peter's Apocalypse" and other so called deleted scenes but these are not in the dead sea scrolls. So any known copy of them would have been destroyed at the conference to assemble the Bible right?
3) This person made it clear Christ was not married to this man. Which is something even more taboo than the whole gay question.
