Who's the one dull of hearing here? I have scripturally answered every question. The works that I brought up are because of salvation, not to gain or maintain salvation. Grace produces works, but works do not produce Grace or salvation. Talk about taking scripture out of context?!!!
Let's go back and look at "work out your own salvation" verse.
Philppians2:12,13] Wherefore my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
The working out of salvation, is surrendering to the will of God. Is there a companion scripture to this works thought? HHHHMMMM
Hebrews 4:11] Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
The example of unbelief was seeing Jesus, but not putting full trust in Him, resting in a secure salvation based on grace thru faith in Christ alone, and returning to a works based faith and temple worship.
Once again, the ones who fall away, are those who saw Jesus, but believed that His sacrifice was not enough. That is what the whole book of Hebrews is about.
If one sees Jesus, surrenders to Him in Faith, not trusting in their own will, but the will of the Father who gives us to Christ as His bride, then we can rest in a full salvation of grace thru faith:
John 6:35-40; 35] And Jesus said unto them,I am the bread of life: he that commeth to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. 36]But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. 37] All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38] For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. 39] And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which He hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40] And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Now look whos doing the theological 2 step. You have never answered my question.
So you become Christ, Christ sins and falls away. Right?
Galatians 2:20-21 I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
21] I do not frustrate the grace of God; for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
