"And [on account of] their saying: "We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Messenger of God." They did not kill him and they did not crucify him, but it was made to seem so to them. Those who argue about him are in doubt about it. They have no real knowledge of it, just conjecture. But they certainly did not kill him. (Qur'an, 4:157)
God raised him [Jesus] up to Himself. God is Almighty, All-Wise. (Qur'an, 4:158)
Just what do they mean by 'raised'? If he was raise supernaturally, then how can they justify it when in 19:13 it says:
(supposedly Jesus speaking here) So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again).
And this word "(again)", are they saying that in the near future, Jesus will soon come and then die and then be raised again?
Why did iit not say "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day I will be raised, the day I will come again, the day that I die and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again).
I just don't understand why they don't see it, then again, maybe I do. [newseed looking at how he was before coming to Christ]
