To Lady Fatima
Lady Fatima wrote this in one post:
quote]The Quran declares the Bible to be a true revelation of God and demands faith in the Bible. Sura 2:40-42,126,136,285; 3:3,71,93; 4:47,136; 5:47-51, 69,71-72; 6:91; 10:37,94; 21:7; 29:45,46; 35:31; 46:11 [/quote]
The word Bible is not mentioned in the Quran at all. We believe in the Injil and the Torah, not the Bible. This injil, is the book that was given to Jesus, while Jesus was on earth. Do you see the difference?
And I need to correct you on this Fatima, yes the Bible is mentioned in the Koran, it uses the word kitab which means book, and the meaning of the word Bible is Book:
Look at:
a. It is He who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, Book, confirming confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Torah (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) (Sura 3:3)
b. “If you Muhammad are in doubt regarding that which we have revealed to thee, ask those who read the book from before you” (Yunus 10:94).
c. The previous Revelations are simply portions of the Book
Hast thou not turned thy thought to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them turn back and decline (Sura 3:23)
So we keep on learning yeah? The Bible is confirmed by the Koran
