It's a great question. And one that I think any answer I could give would be nothing more than pure speculation. I guess it all really revolves around the question of what age we are when we go to heaven, i.e. is our soul the same age in heaven as it is when we die on earth or do we all get defaulted to a certain age. On the other hand, if we are all given glorified bodies when we get to heaven then does it really matter how old a soul is when it gets to heaven? Being in heaven and having a glorified body will mean that all will have knowledge much further than what we have here on earth, whether we were 95, 25, or 5 seconds old when we died (or do we only get the glorified bodies after the 1000 years at the end of the tribulation - either way, I would have to think that what we have there will be better than what we have here). So when you follow that line of thinking, the question of how much understanding a given person has upon dying is really a moot point. But of course, this is all speculation.
