Muslims might point to passages in the Bible (which they cannot do in this debate) where it says the scribes have corrupted the law of God, but the Bible is obviously not referring to itself. Christ warned people of the scribes many times(ex: Matthew 23:29, Mark 12:38, Luke 11:44, etc.). Therefore, even if a Muslim was to take biblical passages out of context to show that it is corrupted, they fail miserably, because in those passages, the Bible is not referring to itself. The Bible also forewarns false revelations to come, and as we all know, God forewarns and does not look back and edit like the Qu'ran suggests. |
