ArchivedErrors in the Quran?Hello Almonte!
Almonte, i notice that muslims often tell christians how they often misinterpret their book called the Quran, and so i will likewise do the same within the verse you quoted out of the Bible. These verses at first may seem dificult to understand, but they seem to go back historically to explain how the love described in the verses 5-7 os SOS 8 came into being. The brothers of the maiden are the speakers in verse 8 and 9, and they are also mentioned in in verse 1:6, They are recalling when she was their little sister and lived under their watch or care. They determined that if she was a wall{chaste and pure}then they would honor her. and if she were a door{sexually immoral}they would take away her liberty. First understand that the book is called PROVERBS, and therefore is instruction on wisdom and not foolishness almonte!, first clean the inside of the cup my friend. The Author is giving a warning against immorality if you were to read the entire chapter my friend! The victim is a young man in verse 7 who is inexperienced and naive and lacks moral discipline, being at the wrong place and time. it clearly describes the harlot her if you read carefully my friend. she is loud and stubborn in verse 11, tells the young man that the place is ideal and is a luxurious bedroom. Solomon is merely trying to teach a lesson to young readers to stay away from harlots, understand this my friend? What version of the Bible did you get this from? Actually it is better interpreted as: I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of love. You see the difference here my friend?
Amazing how some versions of the Bible make their best effort to distort the truth within these words. The verses here refers to the growing maturity of marriage be each of its partners, the maiden satifies ti him like food and drink verses 7:2, verse 7: the word carmel is used as a word for the comparison of her beauty. You must take into consideration how you interpret these verses my friend, because the heart has a lot to do with it. God Bless! |
