ArchivedErrors in the Bible?oneGOD Wrote Hi, oneGOD. If some Jews did consider Ezra to be the Son of God, they couldnt have been a major sect of Judaism. why? Because the Jews at the time of Jesus wanted to have Jesus killed, because he was claiming divinity, witch was seen as blaspeme by the Jews. however this sect could have been around in Arabia at the time of Mohammed. But the question is still, why would the the Quran speak of this "sect" as if it was the normal Jewish religious belief? Also the Quran has the trinity wrong, Mary is included in the Quranic trinity instead of the Holy Spirit. This too could have been a sect in Arabia at the time of mohammed. Like I said, God would and should have been more concerned about the major denominations in Judaism and Christianity, that didn't teach such beliefs, not small sects that God knew would fade away. Plus, there is no evidence at all to suggest that any Jew, in any sect, ever believed that Ezra was the Son of God. Peace |
