I have some friends who are catholic, and i was told when he was about 6 years old he partook in communion with real wine, he became drunk.
These days there is so much fuss on how communion should be done, wether it be real wine or wether it be wafers. It is all about the rememberance of the new covenant and the blood that was shed for the remission of sins, not about wine or wafers or whatever.
Does it say specifically in the Bible that you must eat wafers, or you must or must not drink wine? NO
At my church we partake in communion once a month and we use crackers and grape juice, the point is when i eat the cracker and drink the juice i do it in rememberance of what HE{JESUS}had done for me and for all the world and not about whether it's real wine or not. With my friend being drunk at a young age, that was a mistake on the elders part, and everyone makes mistakes.
God Bless!
