I'm intrigued Ishmael, do you truly think you can know God purely by human logic?
Quote:
"In accepting Islam, there is no blind faith in any of the religion. One must first figure out if God exists using logic, reason, and yes, science."
The amazing thing about becoming a Christian for me was the complete opposite. Although raised as a Christian, I'd undergone a highly secular education, studying science at school, and could not believe in a loving God. There were so many unanswered questions, contradictions and barriers.
It brought me to near distraction, and no matter how i argued with myself, i could not see God. It felt like a block in my mind, unassailable and immovable. Finally in desperation, I took a blind leap of complete trust and faith.
It was this BLIND, illogical, unreasonable and unscientific step that brought me to Christ. The feeling of his Spirit in my body and soul transformed my life. It didn't answer all the questions, they just didn't matter any more. You can dress Christianity up in any costume you choose, but it's all based on the same thing. A living God who moves in your life, touches you spiritually, and loves you enough to sacrifice his only son for you.
It could not be more perfect.
