Believer,
Lets see:
I don't have my Bible around so I'll do this from memory as best I can. When Jesus speaks to the guys that try to stone him [i think its the sons of Abraham, not too sure] he says that glorifying himself will amount to nothing, but his Father, which the people he was speaking to took as their God, glorifies him. Now, how does a man glorify himself? he makes a name for himself by achieving sucess in life.
Let us look at Moses for a moment. Moses was glorified not by his own means, but by Gods. The plagues and miracles he performed was only by God's permission.
Jesus is stating the same exact thing. He did not glorify himself, but God did.
Let us read the first commandment: I am the Lord thy God. Thou Shalt have no strange gods before me, for I am a jealous God.
Now, Moses is relating to what God said, the Creator said. Jesus is not accredited with creation, nor is the Holy Spirit.
Let us read from the Gospel of Barnabas
Then said Jesus: 'If our God willed not to show himself to Moses his servant, nor to Elijah whom he so loved, nor to any prophet, will ye think that God should show himself to this faithless generation? But know ye not that God hath created all things of nothing with one single word, and all men have had their origin out of a piece of clay? Now, how shall God have likeness to man? Woe to those who suffer themselves to be deceived of Satan!'
You say Jesus is God? Jesus says straightforward that God would never show His face to them, yet Jesus stands there in front of them... so either Jesus is not God, or God Almighty is wrong.
Never once does Jesus say 'I am God'
Never once does the word Trinity appear in the Bible
