I know! I go to church because I feel that it's necessary for me in regards to learning all I can. I mean, I study the Bible (And I'm STILL in Genesis. LOL), but I don't always understand what some of the Scriptures are saying (Even though I'm using the NIV Bible). Also, I feel comfortable and at ease when I'm surrounded by fellow Christians. My fears and anxieties are gone (For the most part), and I enjoy the Christian fellowship. However, I don't go to church to find salvation, because I know that salvation can be found only through my belief in Jesus Christ.
The thing I want to know is: If Catholics believe that all non-Catholics (No matter how strong they are in the Christian faith) are going to Hell...why did Mel marry Robyn? Don't Catholics believe in the "guily by association" stuff?
And I know I didn't handle things very well when I posted my comments on that website, but what practically knocked me off of my chair was when someone said that I was "Catholic at heart." I told them that I'm not Catholic, but I'm definitely "Christian at heart." ARGH! The nerve of some people.
Anyway, please pray for these people. Their eyes and hearts need to be opened.
