The big difference between the God of the Bible and the God of the Quran is that Jesus has unconditional love. He loved us, and even showed us his love by dying on the cross for us to forgive our sins and provide an atonement through which we can go to heaven to be with our Creator.
Our sins? You mean the Original Sin? Is not that both the Quran and the Bible say that our attaintment of Heaven or Hell is by our own deeds and actions. Adam and Eve committed a sin, but they asked for His forgivness and they were forgiven. Peopl are not to be held responsible for the sins of others but for their own, Adam and Eve made a mistake, but that was their own? Christians preach of a fair God, but is it fair taht the sin comminted of two is related to everyone until the time of Jesus? Jesus died for attonement of our sins? No our sins are our own doing.
Christians are led to belive taht the sin committed by Adam and Eve by eating the fuit of the forbidden tree every child and everyone inherit the Orginal Sin, and therefore since this sin is so great that God had to send his only begotten son to save mankind. I wrote on this prieviously and fail to understand why it would take God the all mighty with Infinite Power to send his only begotten son to save mankind. Of course the typical response by Christians is that because that is how much God loves us or that is how much Jesus loves us, but this is where the Grace of God is failed to be understood. God does love us, and that is why He shows such infinite mercy, but I saw that picture of Jesus (may peace be upon him) dragging that cross in blood and pain, and yelling in despair as he was being bullied and pushing and spit at. Glory be to Allah, Glory be to God. One of satan's ultimate goal in life is to seperate mankind from God, and what better why than Jesus (may peace be upon him) as God or His Son. Of course then Christians would argue Satan did not seperate us from the One True God? Did he? That same One True God that created the heaven and the earth and man?
Whats your opinion on unconditional and conditional love?
One of the most popular topics is that of Gods love for mankind. I never disagree with any Christians who says that God loves us, and he does. Buy Christians fail to understand something. That something is that they believe that in their doctrine God loves even the sinners, but in the Islamic doctrine God loves only those who love and fear him. Let me explain. God loves those who love and fear Him, because do who do will do the acts of good and righetouness and worship him alone. Yet sinners and those who turn away from God are not loved back by Him, lacking His love those sinners only hope to have God's mercy. this concept of mercy is the seperation point of love in the ISlamic and Christian doctrines. I hope i satisfied your questions my friend.
If there was a Father who loved his kid only when the kid loves him ... Is he better than a Father who constantly loves his kid even though the kid may not love the Father?
In regards to this question: The ultimate seperation between Islam and Christianity on this topic is the perspective of God. God in both religons is mentions as Father, but you have put that word into a context where it is regular relationship like with a normal father and son. Father, or God is a special case. Our relationship with Father is a unique one. We are indeed His creations, but in that case we are His servants and we obey His will. When we commit a sin we ask for His forgivness and pray for His mercy, but when we keep sinning, we earn His wrath, for God is swift in reward and in punishment. You said that you prefer a Father constantly loves his kid even though the kid may not love the Father, then hypothetically speaking in the faith of Christanity was Jesus' (may peace be upon) in vain for those who sin today and yet according to what you say can easily still hold fast to their Creator love even though they deserve it not. You love your Lord for i can see it through the determination in your writing and that is very good, but do you fail to recognize that your love that you received from God is so becasue you earned it through your faith, but what of other who turn their back agaisnt God?
may peace be upon you
