"no i agree with lisa. it's a relationship, not a contract. it's not just God's love that saves someone. if it was, then everyone would already be going to heaven no matter what. coz God loves everyone the same. John 3:16 says so anyway.. if that matters anymore..
this is all the way i see it though.. i won't say i know any of this for sure. because no one knows for sure. the bible's changed in different ways since its original script. so who really knows? other than God himself."
Your first paragraph is, in my opinion, brilliant. Your assertion in your second paragraph that "the Bible's changed in different ways since it's original script, so who really knows other than God himself?", if correct, means that the entire human race is lost since we have no way of knowing whether or not the Bible we are following really is the Word of God?!
However, it can be shown (Q.E.D.) that the text which we have now is 99.9% exactly the same as the original text when it was originally written on the original manuscripts in the original languages. This is especially so since the discovery in 1947 of the Essenic manuscripts (The Dead Sea Scrolls) hidden in the caves at Qumran. (See Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell available online from: http://www.josh.org/)
Also, contrary to popular belief (even amongst Christians) it is ONLY the original manuscripts that are accorded the status of "The inerrant and infallible Word of God". No translation, no matter how good, (including the Authorized Version) has the same status as the original manuscripts. All translations (again, including the Authorized ("King James") Version) are fallible by dint of fact that they are a translation. The veneration of any translation in the way that some venerate the Authorized Version is in fact nothing more than an expression of legalistic idolatry and should be opposed at every opportunity.
