My friend before you jump to such conclusions as you did with that entry you must understand to be more open minded. I did not choose Islam because i was grown up into it, i believe in it because i am of understanding. it is unfair to say to accuse Muhammad (peace be upon him) of such claims with regards to Jesus (peace be upon him). The faith in prophets lies in the faith of God, our Sustainer and Cherisher of the universe. Jesus and Muhammad are prophets because they preached a truth in the name of GOD, and no one else. I myself do not even doubt that Jesus was a prophet and an incredible man, but compare not Muhammad's prophethood in that name of Jesus a mere messenger, but in the name of God who Created everything. Muhammad came in the name of God, he spoke the truth as Jesus did. He is a prophet of God.
Christ claimed he can do nothing of himself, but by the Father. But Christ (in agreement with the prophecies of the Old Testament) knew why the Father sent him. Which is to die for the sins of man past, present, and future. The sacrifices which Israel performed in the Old testament symbolized the sacrifice of the Messiah. Now tell me, why should I believe the revelation of one man who claims Christ did not die, when this was God's plan from the beginning? Also, why should I believe Muhammed when his revelation came hundreds of years after Christianity was already established? Is God a "Johnny come lately" ?
