Re: Here's your answer.

The bible clearly involved no external source of wisdom as the knowledge it contains adheres precisely to the knowledge of the authors, both in those things which were unknown at the time and explained by Divine providence which are now understood, in those things that were believed then which have been disproven, and in those things which have been recently learned yet have no acknowledgement in the bible. With the possibility of divine authorship removed the bible can only possibly be a recorded history of the people, yet the old testament contradicts current knowledge of the history of that period and the new testament was so far removed from the events it describes to be insufficient grounds for anything more than speculation and conjecture.
Ergo the bible is a book of mythology, nothing more.

P.S. Yes I realise that technically speaking that is two points, unfortunately I was unable to come up with a single point answer.
Can you please show me what has been disproven which the Holy Bible believes? And can you show me where the Old Testament contradicts current knowledge of the history of that period? Also, if you claim specualtion and conjecture in the New Testament scriptures, isn't that speculation and conjecture which you are doing? The Holy Bible has its evidence. Both archaeological and prophetic.
