Christian/Muslim ThreadsSin and its forgivenessthankyou for your reply Lady Fatima, Did therefore death exist before Adam and Eve disobeyed God? I presume you are referring to my comment about God killing the first animal in order to make an animal skin for Adam and Eve? or were you referring to Adam and Eve's dying (physically and spiritually) as a consequence of their sin? Now, you have mentioned that making Wadu correctly and perfecting your prayers and repenting, may remove the shame associated with the sin. You also said that it is assured to have your sins forgiven for doing this for the right reasons, (to improved your Islamic-life), yet you should say "as Allah wills" as ultimately it's His to choose whether to accept or reject it. Now, this means there is a sense of predestination in Islam.. Allah, already knows who He will accept and not accept. Who's sins he will forgive or won't forgive. So, if this is so, why then is there the corresponding need to go and show all nations Allah and Islam, so they will also embrace it? Now, returning to correct wadu. my understanding is that every thing you do, even the way you fall asleep at night is governed by the need not to defile yourself. It appears that every part of your day is ordered by the need to do things so as not to defile yourself. How then, do you as a muslim cope with the day to day reality of 1. Knowing you could very easily defile yourself and that knowledge controlling all your actions, to ensure you are always clean. 2. Knowing that Allah has willed who will or won't find forgiveness and clensing. I appreciate any replies you have time to give me thankyou carol 3. |
