Let me elaborate.
I'm adding to my first post.
I support abortion only in one case: when the mother's health is in serious jeopardy. And the doctors have to provide concrete proof that the woman could die if her pregnancy is not terminated. Otherwise, the mother should carry the baby to term, give birth, and - if she doesn't want the baby - give it up for adoption. Killing your child because you made a mistake and you are incapable of thinking about your child is no excuse. Your child is precious, even if you don't think so. It's more than just a glob of cells. It is a part of you. It is a human being, and it deserves to be brought into the world and raised by someone who's capable of taking good care of it. If you feel that you are not the person who's fit to parent the child, give the child up for adoption. There are plenty of people out there who can't have children, and they would love to raise your child.
Partial birth abortion is disgusting, cruel and heartless. How can a doctor - a person who, when taking their oath, utters the words, "First, do no harm" - grab the unborn baby's leg with forceps, pull said baby into the birth canal, deliver the baby's entire body - with the exception of the head - and then jam scissors into the baby's skull? How can they open the scissors, enlarge the hole, and then suction the baby's brains through a suction catheter? This is not right, people! This is murder!

If a man murders his wife, he's thrown in jail or sentenced to death. And yet, just because a child is still in the womb, some people have taken it upon themselves to determine that that baby is not a human being. Driven by that "knowledge," they believe that it is perfectly fine to kill this child.
Yes, you have rights. But killing your child is not one of them.
