I believe it's already been agreed on elsewhere on this thread and board that Jesus and Allah are not the same God.

True Muslims belief they are the same.
Fake Muslims don't."
I stand corrected.
"Is the Qur'an FROM God?
or equivalently
Is Muhammad a prophet sent by the one and only true God?"
A question I would like to pose to the Muslims here is,
How many witnesses were there to the revelation which Muhammad received? And I do mean actual witnesses as in a number of people. Are you able to support that, when it is claimed that Muhammad was alone in the cave on Mount Hira during the time he received the revelation?

decrease in the future???"
Well, there have been missionaries to the Middle East.
As for Christianity decreasing, I see the opposite happening -- I see it increasing.
I would not use the word fake, I would use the word reformed. Although I suppose using the word reformed could be questioned, too.
The argument of commonality is probably the best one when it comes to Islam's appeal to the potential converts. It's nothing new under the sun, actually. The Vatican utilized the same methods a thousand or so years ago. Once you appeal to someone claiming that the belief is the same, but something "new and improved" -- in this case, Islam's claim that the Quran is perfect but the Bible corrupted (I do not buy the latter claim), that Abraham and Moses also worshipped Allah, that the first temple Abraham built to the Biblical God was the Kaaba (BTW this is tradition in Islam, not a concrete fact supported by history)
I like your post, Carol, I couldn't have said it better myself.

Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
