ArchivedWhy do Christians Forget these Jesus sayings? How do all these sayings prove that Jesus is not the Son of God, or God manifested in the flesh ? How do these sayings prove that Jesus did not die on the cross, even when Isaiah 53 says He was to die? Jesus rebuked His own desciple (Peter) for trying to stop Him from dying for the sins of the world. John 1 says "the Word is God" and "the Word became flesh." This is obviously refering to Jesus. Yes, Jesus and the Father are two distinct witnesses, but Jesus is still God manifested in the flesh. All those who believe in God, know that He is everywhere at the same time. We all believe this, yet we do not fully understand it. How then can you take away God's revelation of Himself through the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit just because you do not fully comprehend it? Do not change the ways God reveals himself to us just because you, being a finite being, do not fully understand Him. Do not create your own god to your own liking, just because it will make more sense to you. We are to bow our knees to God's revelation to us, which is through the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and not through the teachings of the Qu'ran. Plus, the Bible is not corrupted. A perfect God, will not allow His Word to be corrupted by man. Even if man is imperfect, it will not be hard for God to come up with a way to make His Word divine. God can use any resources to accompany His will. For your god, some things might be too hard to accomplish or understand, but for my God, nothing is too hard for Him. |
