We know the Son's name, so the name can refer to the preexistent Jesus...although Jesus Christ is generally referring to the man Jesus. To say that Jesus was, is, and ever will be is in scriptural context. When Jesus refers to Himself as "I AM", implies that. Revelations claims He is the first and last. It's all in context. |
