I was having a very long discussion with a friend about God and our creation. After a long five hour talked I have narrowed down my questions. I am not here for debate. I am just curious and hope you guys can help me shed some light on things.
Here is a synopsis I got from my friend:
God created man to worship God. But whether we think so or not we worship it by our mere creation by God. Something along the line of God created man to worship God and by God's creation we are worshiping. Or something along those lines. Anyways, here are my questions:
1) Why did God create us? Not what is OUR purpose. But what was its purpose and motivation? As in a cook makes a meal to be consumed. God created us because_________________
2) If God created us with free will so that we can then CHOOSE God, how do you explain that to a Non deity worshiper that doesn't make it look like God is seriously a needy and insecure deity?
3) If God created everything in his perfect way why would he make the one thing he created everything for (man) into a creature that can't even understand his words?
4) If the bible is the Word of God, then is it possible there are words of God not recorded. Everything we know about God is from a bible. But everything there is to know about God is not in the bible. There is more to it.
5) And if God can make things all possible is there a possibility he made us for a reason we still don't know yet? If we do not know God's mind there lied the possibility for anything.
Thanks in advance. If you need clarification on any questions please ask. Again, I tried to sort through all the stuff and get down to my curiosity. And I couldn't think of a better place to come than here.
