I've already seen how quickly you cats here spring into action when someone violates Rule #11. My question regarding that in your rules thread was deleted in less than a few hours.
Obviously, you all control this forum and can delete anybody who you see as a threat to your religious world view, but I don't think one can pretend to be a good citizen of a Liberal Democracy and not try to uphold the values of free speech. I'm willing to avoid certain words that seem to offend some, I'm willing to wade through the threads that are reserved 'not for debate' or 'for honor and praise only;' holding the threat of deletion regarding any violation of rule #11 is like trying to have an intervention for an alcoholic while be forbidden to mention the harmful effects of the sauce.
If you all give me some assurances that anything I write regarding these matters will not be deleted, I'd be willing to point out a few things and try to help some reach a more complicated understanding of spirituality. I'm really a nice guy, and just motivated by the desire to see my fellow sentient beings get more out of their consciousness than these endless loops of dogma.
However, if ya just delete me again, I'll have to assume that this is not a site run by confident, rational folks, and I'll have to move on in search of other souls to save.
If one's faith be truly founded on a rock, then one should not have to preclude criticisms of one's holy writ. You all don't hesitate to criticism the koran.
