I'm sure true Christians will do good works because they feel it is the right thing to do, but Jesus never said they were required to be saved. Hence the ideology requires less than that of Islam. Believeing Jesus to be the Messiah and accepting Him is seen by some as intangible, being purely psychological, and helping no one other than he who believes. Islam on the other hand has tangible requirements if it's followers. I do'nt personally agree with this assertion. I feel religion is entirely personal and one that requires good works doesn't make it more valid than another that doesn't. But I can understand why Naaji can see Christianity as being "lazy". |
