In the Book of Revelation Christ speaks with John in Chapters 1-3, then ceases until the 16th Chapter where He suddenly reappears and makes the statement:"Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." (Revelation 16:15) Then once again ceases to speak again until the 22nd Chapter.
The point? The suddenness of the reappearance of Christ to make a statement of preparedness of the believer is a representation of the imminent return of Christ for His Bride. The question is, do you have your garments ready? Are you washing and folding them or have you already washed your garments and have garbed yourself with it? The LORD gave us instructions in His Word to keep occupied until He returns for us, we should not have our garments washed and folded but garbed as well, continually doing His will until we see Him face to face.
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. (John 21:7)
Will you be found with your garments on when the LORD comes for you, or will be found naked waiting to be cast into the sea?
God Bless!
