Hi, its Naaji (Simon),
I cannot trust in the word of men, just because the bible says ill be guaranteed eternal life if i believe Jesus (saw) died on the cross doesnt mean ill be saved, and this is cause God didnt say that, it was a man who wrote that. GOD DOES however tell me, in the Qur'an, that ill get to Janna almost instantly if im a good muslim, and if my good outweighs bad im guaranteed salvation. Jesus left a message for us that a comforter would come, he told us that the comforter would declare the things to come (make prophecies or tell us what will happen on the day of judgement). It also says in john 16:8-10 that when that one arrives he give us convincing evidence concerning sin because they are not exercising faith in me. I'm sorry but the holy spirit never came to me and gave me this evidence, if he did show me where this evidence is!! Neither did the holy spirit come to me and teach me the things Jesus (SAW) didnt show me. Muhammad (SAW) however did all those things. I dont understnad how you cannot see Muhammad (SAW) is a true prophet of God. Lets look at it this way Jesus (saw) says his message is incomplete, and tells us he will send a comforter to help us, he never said he was the last prophet he never said there wouldnt be any more prophets. So if Muhammad (pbuh) is not this prophet Jesus (saw) promises us, then who is? where is the prophet Jesus (saw) promised us, did he just lie to us? or was it yet another unfulfilled prophecy, cause thats what your saying it is. And why did god stop sending us prophets without completing the message if Muhammad (pbuh) is not the last prophet? that would show God has abandoned us. The holy spirit, it never spoke nor did it listen(it wouldnt have to if it is God!), and it certainly didnt show us anything or teach us what Jesus (pbuh) couldnt.
On a closing note, find me a verse in the bible where the word 'trinity' is used.
Thanks, Naaji.
