Christian/Muslim ThreadsAbdullahs signature...Greetings Abdullah,
Well, let's see what Deut 6:4 states in the Hebrew. ד שְׁמַע, יִשְׂרָאֵל: יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ, יְהוָה אֶחָד. These are the juxtaposition words: Tetragrammaton, Elohim, Tetragrammaton, Echad. These are the corresponding Strong's #'s: #3068, #430, # 3068, #259 This is what the Hebrew words mean: Tetragrammaton = Singular Elohim = Plural Echad = one unity Thus we have this PROFOUND statement being made: Singular = Plural God = Gods God is clearly singular. God is clearly Plural. This is the Uniplural nature of the Creator revealed. Period. End of Story. Thus, as you so kindly pointed-out…we can clearly understand Jesus' comments as to what is the most important:
Jesus is clearly proclaiming His Uniplural nature in quoting from the OT! You (hands-down) could not have cherry-picked better Biblical scriptures than these two gems…!!! Furthermore….you wear these two Biblical verses like a great big badge of courage…while in your ignorance, you think that they somehow support your belief system….well, think again… This causes quite a Conundrum for Muslims who still hold to the "God is one" verses of the Holy Bible. If they only knew what they truely must believe.
Please be kind enough to show us where your god اللَّهِ “allah” appears anywhere in this ayah… Thanks… |
