As an educator, it is important to teach proper terminology to the general public as well as students. In this case, science has a specific terminology that carries a very different meaning than the collowuial use of the words. It's important to make the distinction.
I don't disagree with you, however, in other threads you have chosen to attack a method of understanding science in lieu of addressing the science of those you disagree with so it seems your role of educator depends on circumstances.
However, in the future I will be more precise with my choice of words.
