ArchivedChristadelphianismHere Yahweh is saying that these people (Israel) are his witnesses and his servant. The intention? That they may know him and believe in him. Nowhere here does it say that Yahweh is a suffering servant. How can Yahweh be a servant when he is the supreme and almighty? He cannot and will not be subject to anyone! None of the passages quoted say "I am the suffering servant". In fact, neither of the passages say "suffering". To compare the uses of the phrase "I am he" is a logical falacy, because the two passages speak of entirely different things. I stated elsewhere we believe in the 66 books of the Bible so yes, we do study the Old Testament. I dont understand what you mean here. A couple of months studying what aspect of the Old Testament? I dont understand what you mean here either. How are we confused about what the Tanakh teaches  Please highlight some errors in our interpretations of the Tanakh. |
