Quran and Bible debateJesus never knew of an Allah! What is the difference between the following examples ? : 1) Yisus, Jesus, Yeshaa, Yashuwa 2) Mushaa, Moses These are called language forms of names. If you want to be silly with such manipulative reasoning then Jesus (English) is not Yisus (Greek) or any of the other names mentioned above. (Note: We are not saying they arent the same person just using the backward reasoning to its affect of prejudice) The name Mushaa is Hebrew the English form is Moses. We can mention countless Hebrew and Aramaic names in which their English or Greek forms have no linguistical comparison ie they dont even sound the same. The Aramaic name Alaha for G-D is the Aramaic form of the Arabic name Allah. We would like you to reference an Arabic Lexicon or Arabic dictionary to support this ficticious allegation ? No Arabic Lexicography or Arabic Dictionary supports such an idea as a reality. It is merely conjecture based on linguistical posibilities and not as a reality which contradicts the etymology and grammar of the word in the Arabic language. Also the English spelling "Allah" is not a correct spelling of the word nor equal with the original in Arabic. In Arabic is it literally spelled "Alllaah". In fact this has already been address on multiple threads : http://www.jesus-christ-forums.com/home/viewtopic ... 6781#36781 http://www.jesus-christ-forums.com/home/viewtopic.php?t=4697 Also Arabic speaking Jews and Christians before Islam used the name Alllaah as a proper noun to refer to G-D The Almighty Creator. Not to long ago we had a grudge match between an Arabic Speaking Christian and an English speaking Christian on this forum as in regards to this issue. I have to say the expression of ignorance and prejudice that is infested in the hearts of western christians has become, as it seems, an indoctrination apposed to the reality of the name Alllaah.
