Christian/Muslim ThreadsTrinitarian Scholars Admit it!The 5% difference does not change the overall message of the gospels. Most of the descrepencies are scratched out letters and things of that nature. When you have ancient manuscripts, they are not going to have that fresh out of Barnes and Nobles look to it. Not even the manuscripts of your Q'uran is perfect. And if you read the last post, you would see that I wrote: "Before I prove this (The Trinity) using Biblical passages, let me first show that the Bible we have today is the exact same as it has always been" therefore, do not say, "I am not arguieng On the Authenticy of the Bible, But How The Trinity came about." You have to realize that the manuscript evidence is based on findings in different regions where people spoke different languages, so collusion is out of the question. You also have to remember that the Qu'ran (the book which you believe) bares witness that the claim to Christ's divinity happened BEFORE Muhammed's time. Otherwise, why would Muhammed say Christ is not the Son of God? Finally, you say that there can be verses that disclaim the divinity of Christ. Well, that argument is refuted by Philippians 2:5-8. |
