Hi Jefferson,
I am not attacking Christianity. I am actually showing the double standards.
Also, don't forget or ignore the OT, it is what the NT is supposedly based upon. You're religion would not be legit. if no OT existed.
The point I am making here is that you just can not use double standards when attacking Muhammad (pbuh).
I know the story of Zainab and I read it several times. The prophet reuised to go inside the house and when Zaid wanted to divorce her the prophet tried to stop him and insisted . However on the other hand to show how double standards always exist, how about the story of David in the OT?He did worse and actually killed. Why dig deep into that story when the whole story shows the honesty of Muhammad (pbuh) and forget about the other prophets of God in the OT when they actually did worse?
Here is what Aisha, the prophet's wife, said when some Quranic verses were revealed concerning this issue:
'A'isha later said: Had the Messenger of God been inclined to
suppress anything of what was revealed to him, he would surely have
suppressed this verse (Bukhari and Muslim).
The Quran also does not support the theory of adopted sons that the present time support and understand. You need to keep this in mind also.
There is one fact that you can not deny my friend, many Christian missionaries use alot of double standards and I see that when responding to them I should firsty refute their claim and then show them their double faces.
