Hello..
I have some questions..
1. Question for Christians: There is a story in the New Testament regarding Pual I believe. In the story a man and a woman lie to Pual when they tell him they have given up everything they have to follow Jesus footsteps. Pual knows they are lying and tells them that they are evil and takes the life from them. (This is how i remember the story so correct me if I am wrong) At any rate I'd like to know, since we are aware of the teachings of Jesus, and seeing how this story would not apply to his teachings...Why does this occur? I guess it would seem to make more sense if Jesus was alive he'd teach them the wrong of their actions but not by taking their life..It seems a bit off the way of Christian teachings. If this is true, how come it can happen due to the fact that they are apostles and they should follow the path of Jesus..I don't think Jesus would want that. I get the conclusion from his teachings on earth...Am I wrong here or...?
2. My question for muslims. I once heard that according to your religion that on judgement day God will not forgive the sins you committed against others..You have to go and ask them for forgiveness otherwise you will be sent to hell. For example, I beat my wife and go to God and ask for forgiveness (He is not going to forgive me, not that He cant but He wont because I committed a crime and violated someone elses right) To be forgiven I have to go and apologize and get forgiveness from my wife here on earth or on Judgement Day. Is this correct?
One More Question for Christians
3. The very same scenerio but let's make it a little bit more extreme for the sake of my example: A guy identifies himself as a Christian but he doesnt go to church or live like a good Christian, one day he gets drunk and murders someone, and 30 years later or 10 day later he realizes what he did was wrong and truly submits himself to God, accepts Jesus as his saviour, and becomes a Christian. According to Christianity he will be accepted now here is my question. How can this be just to the family who lost a loved one? (especially if they are Christians too) Dont you think this is contridicatory? Since this is about divine justice...yet I don't see that here. What do you think?
Thanks in advance for your answers..
