Peace All!!
Believer, here is the contradiction you asked for. It concerns Judas!!
Matthew 27
2And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.
7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.
8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
Acts 1
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
16Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
17For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
As u can see in Matthew 27 Judas repents for his sin and throws away the thirty pieces of silver and goes and hangs himself and the chief priests with those thirty pieces of silver purchase the potters field.
Whereas in Acts 1 Judas purchases the field himself and then he falls headlong in the field and his bowels gushed out and thats how he dies.
These are 2 totally different accounts of Judas' death and not only that there are also 2 different accounts of who purchases the field, but it doesnt end there in matthew he feels guilty and repents whereas in Acts he is a still a sinner.
Now this contradiction proves a lot of things
1. the writers were not inspired by God (coz God doesn't contradict
Himself)
2. they were not filled with the Holy Spirit or guided by It. ( neither does
the Holy Spirit guide people to flasehoods)
3. no one knew what happened to Judas
4. puts the Crucifixion of Jesus in doubt and would backs up the Koran's
account of what happened to Jesus and
5. The New Testament has been corrupted by men
6. so much for your TRUTHFUL eyewitnesses
7. It cannot be a translation error
So as u said believer, the Holy spirit did not dictate the NT to them, but they werent filled with the Holy Spirit either!!
Peace To ALL !!!
