I always believed in God, questioned Him at times, yet always believed. You must understand that the MAIN reason I left the RELIGION of Christianity was because I found error in it's doctrine ASWELL as in the bible. So I can't just continue to be a "God-fearing" honest person within the Christian religion and NOT believe in the teachings. That would make me a hypocrite like so many are today who PROFESS Christianity but aren't really called on it's duties.
Islam actually means "peace", but I'll let you slide on that one. But let me ask you a question, do you think Jesus and\or the Holy Spirit created anything? Or was it just the Father? Since you admire it so much why don't YOU try to cling to it a little and see if the static is strong enough to keep you...it did me! I've only been Muslim for 5 years so I don't know what the future holds but I'm always in search of truth and so far I've found it. I have pretty simple and clear standards for selecting my religions. I just toss out the ones that contain falsehood and errors. Now if Jesus or and Angel comes to me and CONVINCES me that following them is the only right way, then I'll have little choice but to accept truth. But if the BIBLE is the only thing I can go by in making my choice...I'm sticking with Islam. ...that is...if it's alright with you. 8) Mmmm tasty! Got Milk? ..to wash it down. |
