ArchivedPray That Chief Justice Moore Wins His Battle :: SatanismSatanism No matter how much I hate Satanism, I am an ardent supporter of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If I'm offended, I'm offended. But I don't have the right to demand that the offending monument be taken down. Let's face it. You cannot get through life without offending someone. No mater what you do, say, or believe in, someone is always going to be offended. Someone is always going to create a big stink and attempt to take away your rights. Like I've been saying for a while now: there is no such thing as political correctness. What is "politically correct" about telling someone, "Oh! You can't do that, because so and so over there is going to be offended." Stick to your guns. Believe in whatever god or goddess you want to believe in. Shout it from the rooftop if you must. But don't you, for one second, tell me that I can't do the same. Remember: The government has no right to interfere in anything involving religion, unless it physically harms someone else. |
